Gary Goldbaum serves as a faculty mentor for the Northwest Public Health & Primary Care Leadership Institute.
Gary provides expertise in public health leadership, communicable diseases, and epidemiology. Following three years in rural family practice, he worked in federal, state, and local public health agencies, retiring as the Director and Health Officer for the Snohomish Health District.
He is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the School of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology and has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Washington. During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, he served as Co-Medical Director for Snohomish County’s Isolation and Quarantine Facility for the shelterless population.
