Hendrika Meischke leads research projects housed at NWCPHP, primarily in the area of health communications. She was Primary Investigator of Limited English Proficiency 9-1-1 project and Bystander CPR project through the Northwest Preparedness and Emergency Response Research Center.
Hendrika is Scientific Lead for all research activities that come through NWCPHP. She consults with researchers, potential researchers, and Center leadership to ensure that all projects meet with NWCPHP's mission, vision, and resources. She is also a Professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health in the University of Washington School of Public Health.
Hendrika earned her Master’s in Public Health in Family Planning, Health Behavior, Health Promotion and International Health from the University of Michigan and received her PhD in Mass Communication from Michigan State University.
