Meagan Brown works with NWCPHP as an instructor in the Public Health Management Certificate program. Meagan has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of public health practice and research to promote health equity and has led program planning and evaluation trainings for NWCPHP since 2017. Meagan has her PhD in Health Services from the University of Washington and MPH in Health Behavior from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. As a current postdoctoral fellow, her research focuses on ways of adapting evidence-based public health promotion programs to better reflect the strengths and needs of under-resourced communities of color.
